does anyone out there live west of asheville? It's pretty boring not having other people to climb with or exchange beta with. If there's any tradies/sport climbers/boulderers out there that want to hit the rock with a young gun then i'd love to have that opportunity. Climbing in my area is scarce. Please...help.

i'm moving to asheville myself. well actually a little north called mars hill. everyone is telling me rumbling bald is the shit. i've also had some people telling me it's there in asheville but no one really talks about it. i don't know how far west you are but chatanooga has more climbing around than anyone can do in a life time. horsepens 40 is too far and neither is rock town. those are 2 of the best bouldering areas i've ever been to. i'll be moving in june or july hit me up if you want to hook up and climb.

I'm from the Rutherford County area if you would like somebody young to climb with during holidays (usually the only time i'm around the area). Rumbling Bald is a short drive from my house and I wouldnt mind meeting you up there to climb sometime. Drop me a PM and I'll get back to you about climbing sometime. I'll be in the area for around a month from Dec15-Jan10 or so.

Yeah, Rumbling Bald near Lake Lure is the shit. It has it all from bouldering to awsome routes, you name it. Definantly check it out if you have yet to do so.
