You know...I remember when climbers were tough, individualistic, hard men (& women).
Now it's, "Waaahh, Waahhhh, Waaahhh, My feelings are hurt. Someone make me feel better."
Well I come from Montana. The land where men are men and so are the women. We live hard. We play hard. If someone doesn't make it - Oh well. Too bad for him. Why, I don't even remember ever seeing an elephant in Montana; much less an elephant with a ribbon around its neck and a big red bow on its head. I've never seen such a big bunch of crybabies in my life.

I tried to sing "Shiny Happy People" .. does that make me man-ish?? And, I like to climb, and I can flake ropes and coil them back up again, very nicely too, if I do say so myself ..
