i'm got back together with my ex after being apart for a month and now i think we're closer than we were before the split.... :wink:

I've been told that California people are too shallow and catty to remain friends post-breakup, let alone get back together, whereas the east-coasters are allegedly more enlightened on the subject. They at least stay amicable.
Where the hell does that leave me? I'm the bastard son of both coasts and everything in between.
I've gotten back with one ex. All the dramas that ended the relationship the first time came back full force the second time around. Horrible mistake (but then... so was the first time).
Others... I could possibly see it happening. Depends on the relationship and the reasons it ended.

I was once madly in love with a woman who I gave the opportunity to break my heart twice. She did it. After she broke up with me the second time I swore I'd never give another woman that opportunity. I haven't.
I do usually remain friends with most of my ex's though.
