In reply to: climbing phatography You mean climbing photogrphy, right ? Try library. In Canada they have a book of mags and newspapers that buy pictures. They might have a similar book in England. Good luck. 8^)

I don't really know what your question is, maybe if you asked it a bit better you may receive some more assistance.

You might also want to ask around the royalty-free / rights-managed stock photography companies. These guys sell pictures for commercial usage, such as ads & publications. If your pictures are good enough, you may just be able to sell your photos to them.

you might want to work on your spelling and grammer first.... if you want to sell anything you need to act like a professional.

Why do you guys enjoy sitting around slamming people for spelling and grammar? Who really gives a rats ass? Unless you just can't read it at all...I don't see the problem. I'm am sure most people are not on here trying to get their posts published or something. Lighten up a bit.

I think this is really a cultural difference. The poster being from England is using different English than we North Americans. “Color” vs “Colour,” “Photograhy” vs “Phatography,” it’s all good. We need to celebrate such diversity, can’t we all just get along?!! Think about the children…

In reply to: Why do you guys enjoy sitting around slamming people for spelling and grammar? Because I'm bored, procrastinating, and a jerk.
In reply to: Who really gives a rats ass? Probably no one. Oh, I think you meant rat's ass.
In reply to: I'm am [sic] sure most people are not on here trying to get their posts published or something. Probably not, but the problem is the general degradation of people's actual ability to use proper grammar and spelling. It isn't that people are simply being lazy, they are actually forgetting how to properly write and speak- and then we all look stupid. And, if you're going to call someone out you should probably spell things correctly yourself.
In reply to: Lighten up a bit. You too.

All the threads are made in jest, like how friends would rib each other out. Certainly no ill-intentions or "I-spell-better-than-you" showmanships.

K, so i'm am just a liddle steemed yous all beet me to it, godda vent abit. :? vicious, every one of you. Spot On! BTW, OP, this is not a site about how to sell pictures, and if you are relying on this bunch of goof-balls to offer suggestions about how to do so... well, lets just say "Don't quit yer day job" Now, if you wanted 25 different opinions on how to store your rope between weekends, or perhaps how to wash said rope---you've come to the right site! Note: I am not excluding myself from the "Goof-ball" descriptor

i think the OP has a very valid question; i got this straight from the meriam webster online dictionary:
In reply to: Main Entry: climb·ing pha·tog·ra·phy Pronunciation: 'klI-m[ng] f&-'tä-gr&-fE Function: noun : the art or process of being a phat climber. by the "selling side of things" i assume you mean selling your image as a phat climber. the most effective way is to get people to take phatos... sorry, photos of you climbing really really hard stuff. if you can't do that, then i suggest buying a bunch prAna gear, smoking lots of weed, and talking about climbing really really hard stuff.

In reply to: In reply to: And, if you're going to call someone out you should probably spell things correctly yourself. One should never begin a sentence with and. Adam That would be incorrect. Using a conjunction as the start of a sentence is a proper way to call extra attention to a new idea in a new sentence that is still related to the paragraph. It's kind of like passive voice- best if avoided, but not at all improper. So thanks for playing.
