Hello, My ears have been continuously ringing for one week. What the hell? I'm seventeen years old and have not been exposed to extremely loud noises. Does anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like it might be a good time to go see your nearest otolaryngologist.

Google Tinnitus. That's the medical term for what you are experiencing. Also, NSAIDS like Advil may have an ototoxic (google it) effect, so if you take any it might have something to do with it. There are many types of Tinnitus and it is very common. It could even be from hearing damage you suffered years ago.

Yup, it sounds like you have tinnitus. Do you have any other symptoms? Like a feeling of fullness in your ear, dizziness or the sensation that the room is spinning, hearing loss, nausea or vomiting? Have you recently had a cough/cold/sore throat? Is it both ears or just one side? Regardless, ditto what the other posters said. Go see your doctor.

A punctured ear drum is one cause of tinnitus. There are other causes. I have it in the right ear as a result of middle ear infections. It may never go away.

I once flew to northern Mexico for a rock concert the very same day (Mago de Oz). Since no one respected the seating arrangements, I went up like 5 ft from the stage, with the speakers some 15 ft. to my left and some 30 to my right. Needless to say, after a 3 hour concert and 2 plane rides in just 2 days, my ears rang and rang and rang for like 4 days... Went away though.
