Went to Jtree this weekend and stupidly I left my hiking boots at home. I was only left with my cheap biker style cowboy boots. So I went to Nomad and bought a pair of 5.10 Womens Retros for $60 bucks.
I wore them all over Jtree and love them so much. I have narrow little feet and 5.10s climbing shoes have always fit my feet real well. These fit very well and are comfortable (hiked over 3 miles in them one day and even got them wet and they didn't slip a bit) and stylish. Normally I am sliding all over the place on the rocks, but with these babies on I felt so confident in my footing and balance. Just thought I'd plug them here. If you're looking for approach shoes these are fantastic.
