You gotta be kidding everyone that people smoke weed while rock climbing, setting up anchors, placing protection, and keeping themselves and their friends alive. I can't believe that these people would be so stupid, idiotic, and messed up in the head. I hope not to meet or have to deal with these irresponsible animals.

As with Driving...Just don't climb late into the night...
Everyone knows that's when all the stoners and drunks go climbing.

I had a guide last summer that was sneaking hits on an easy multi at red rocks............like I couldn't smell it!!! I didn't care he was a damn good climber and he could have done this climb in his sleep. I only got a little puissed once on the rap when he started pulling down the ropes but forgot to untie the knot....lucky for him I grabbed the rope in time.

Hmmm. The initial response here is to shout out "Dork !" and call it good, but I will open the box...
So are you saying You can't function while high, or that no one can ? Or are you saying that You never have climbed while tired, distracted, injured, or in any other circumstances that have resulted in you being at less than 100%, thus placing yourself and others at risk ?
Are you speaking from personal experience ? Are you a regular recreational user ? What information are you basing this one on ? As a healthy and motivated stoner, I recognize I'm in the minority compared to Joe Cheesehead-Clueless-When-High, but still - I find this comment somewhat overgeneralized and negative...and I would hazard a guess that many of my climbing partners would feel the same way ;)
