Hey, there's at least one crack/roof traverse you can do out there in the rain. I drove 2 hours for all 6 moves 'cause my partner swore Rumbling Bald was dry, even though it was pouring in Boone, Asheville, and Lake Lure. Optimism... gets ya every time.

I'll go aid something, but I haven't really aided much, and I can barely walk- it's really more of an old man shuffle right now. Couple trekking poles, moderate approach, maybe a mule and I'd be good to go.
