Anyone used them? Have any complaints? Im aider shopping at the moment and they are very affordable 26 bucks for 5 steps. The steps only hold 900lbs though. I was wondering if this was bad. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Are you asking about the alternating step aiders? I've used these, and I think they are great. I like the extra steps on the top two rungs. I think they are plenty strong as you're only going to be subjecting them to body weight. Make sure you get them in different colors it really helps keep things straight when you are on lead and things are getting tangled.

Shop around a bit. You might find a better deal.. for instance.. YATES the Big Wall specialists 6 step Aider $19.99. Can't beat that deal IMO. Northern Mountain Supply sell them killerdeals.com I love mine!

if you say 'wall ladder' than i asume you must be talking about the easy step aider. my experience with misty's products has been very good, they are a quality manufacturer, and if you like the design it will serve you well. yes, a 'ladder' type aider is much better than an etrier type alternating step aider and these things are a very good deal. you can get any aider to work, but its all a factor of time wasted, comfort and clusterfrig factor. however, you must be aware that there is absolutly NO product on the market that is compropable in design, quality and function to the yates speed and wall ladders. your choice between the two models is strickly a factor of comfort/weight/cost, they both function wonderfully. there is nothing wrong with buying something else to learn on, but you have to understand that if you do, eventually you'll end up with lust for the yates ladders and have to buy them. they are a solid investment, i'd happily bet a case of beer that Ammon has NOT worn a set of these out and that boys' done some milliage. if you really don't want to drop the coin on some premo cheater gear go hit up ebay or the sites used gear forum and find some used ones. i scored 4 metolious jobbers off of a fellow rc.commer for $20.

Thanks for all the input guys. Yea right now it is just a factor of me not having any money. Also I have a friend in Outdoor retail who will sell them to me new for 18 bucks each.

I've done a few walls using both standard etrier style and Yates big wall ladders. No comparison - ladders hands down. I looked at Misty Mountain's version and they seem a little floppy. I have the burly Yates (Maybe too bulky) that really make a nice, some what stiff target for moving (relatively) fast up the rungs (e.g. no foot fiddling). I think the speed ladders might be the ultimate compromise.

Locker, when did you score those? That's a hot price, I don't see any that cheap now. Unless you want ladder-style aiders, go with fish. Catch a screaming deal on some other model if you can, but the price is right on the fish ones too and they are burly and well-designed.
