I've yet to get out to this place but from what is on this site it looks pretty cool...I was just wondering if new routes are continually being added or if all the good stuff has been bolted already. Also, is there a place where I can find more info about it or is does the description on this site pretty much cover it. Any info about this place that is beyond what is already here would be great. thanks.

Nothing worth driving down from MA for though (noticed that thats what your location is). Theres a couple new lines that have been put up recently but yeah, being that its a sport area - everything established has been bolted - its an old quary I dont know of a guidebook or anything but print out the picture of the sign in the Routes database as the sign has since been smashed. Like I said its a small local place so if you go, ask around for beta - theres usually some locals that can tell you the ratings etc. the approach is pretty good - it follows an old closed road for 10 minutes or so but last time I was there the last big storm did some substantial damage to what was left of the bridges so..

Thanks for the info...I go to school at villanova so it isn't too far it appears. I've been bouldering at Haycock every weekened so far but after going to rumney over break I forgot how much I miss sport climbing so maybe I'll check it out just to hold me over until the next break. Looks like I'll have to draw up my own little map from this site tho heh. Thanks again for the info.

You mean that half-assed ladder got washed out? Every time I go there, I either get shut down on climbs, or someone gets hurt. There are some fun climbs...it's just small, and short. I remember seeing a drip line between the slabs and the big wall that some locals rigged up....that thing come in at all? Cheers, Jim

There are quite a few new climbs put in recently--most were squeezed in between other routes but hey, its a quarry...might as well have as many climbs as you can. If you need to know any names, grades etc. just PM me. Its actually a pretty cool place to climb. ~Rob

Birdsboro is a cool place, whats online is about all you'll find written about it. I've tried it update it as much as possible. if you have any questions, feel free to pm me, i've spent way to many days climbing there and know pretty much most of the stuff.

I'd like to go to Birdsboro this weekend if anyone's interested. Nothing like last minute planning.

Enjoyed some of the new routes recently! Thanks to those who put them up and helped with the routes. Also, new sign looks great. Thanks again!

I went today to Birds. Had a good day. I lead the 5.8 (Itching to Climb well). I top roped HogNose (10c) The new sign says its an 11c, but that can't be right b/c I can't climb that hard. I topped Ornage Sunshine and did ok. I tried to lead Monkey Girl (5.9) but the 3rd to the 4th clip scared me and I wasn't confident, so I lowered off. Finally, I tried to lead Corny, but must of been on the Alternate 10.a climb. I def. fell off 2 times trying to get the first clip. We could not figure out where the start of Corny (5.8) started. It says on here that there are 2 starts but we could not find any holds where the start should of been.
