See, that's why no one can understand what dogs are saying when they bark at us. Look at that sentence, there is only three vowels in the whole damn thing. Five if you count "y", which I think you have to in this instance. Ask Mac. She's an English major and dog trainer, so I'm sure she knows better than would I.

Ruggles tells me that all the time. I think it means... "Get off RC.com and get back to work. RC.com is not buying my biscuits, now are the?"

Poor Lulu (hehe) always getting dragged into your rc.com shannanagans... First--the murder plot. Then you make her test out tents and other gear. Her stomach has not been right since you made her eat those energy bars! And now this... Someone should save this poor dog...

The murder incident was regrettable to be sure. I still need to do a sequel to that... a jailbreak... yeah...

In reply to: hmmmm. That looks suspiciously like my dog. And they speak the same unintelligible language. Au contraire, cher... it's YOU that doesn't speak the language. Dogs understand English, shouts, yells, finger pointing, hand gestures, body language, facial expressions, "baby" talk, pets on the head, rubs on the tummy, moans, growls, barks, and "arfs." And you don't even understand a simple "woof." For shame. ;)

I have a reasonable understanding of my dog's spoken and body language, reno. I just can't read or write it.

In reply to: Ask Mac. She's an English major and dog trainer, so I'm sure she knows better than would I. Dog consonants are normal speech. They only use vowels in emotional situations. Duhh. Think about it: upset: "eeee." scared/lonely: "oooooooooooooo." But happy dogs go "Gnnnbbbbnnnn."
