Robert Pickton's long awaited trial is set to begin tomorrow Pickton is being charged with 27 counts of murder, Canada's Biggest Mass Murderer.. he's also from my home town, Port Coquitlam....PoCo is now known for the most famous canadian(IMO) and most immfamous (Terry Fox being the other) So far I hear the case has cost canada over 70 million bones...but thats a small price for closure of the 27+ families of the victims as well for the 100's of other missing women from the downtown east side... From the news yesterday, many of the families of the victims are hoping Pickton claims not-guilty, this way the trail kicks in and all the evidence is presented and judged, I'm guessing this will hopefully bring them alot more closure and the "truth" will be known, not just "he did it" more info via the globe and mail: Pickton set to plead not guilty Monday

Geez, and here you got me thinking they were building a big trail somewhere. And I thought: why the hell would they start in the middle of winter? Good to hear the Pickton thing is finally getting underway. Dave

One thing that's going to be REALLY interesting about this trial is that there is going to be a Canadian wide media black out on details of the trial. What this means is all you Americans are going to know more about the trial then us Canadians. Just like that Carla Hamolka trail. (I hear they've now made a movie staring that girl from That 70's Show) Any way, keep us Canadians posted on the events. Even though it's never been said officially, everyone believes that this guy was feeding the bodies of his victims to his farm pigs to hide any evidence.

ya russman....thats the same guy (the pig farmer) hummmm...i'll see if i can find an article on it...but some peice of shit movie company down in the states are trying to make a movie about this fuck head...the families of the victims are trying to sue to stop production..... slave, it sucks ya, but it makes sense.....i'd rather (if i was a victim, or family member) know at the end, rather than all this bulllshit that flies out of the trials and from the media....it just seems more professional and fare to me.......as well, help keeps the jury in the dark so they're not influenced,,etc etc etc, blah blah blah....... hem....yes, bones or clams or whatever you call them (I LOVE TO QUOTE THE BIG LEBOWSKI!)......ahem...Canadian dollars...not monopoly money...
