I've had chronic lower back pain for 10+ years since a bouldering accident. When it gets bad, I have weakness/tingling down the back of my leg. Staying active and keeping perfect posture helps. When things get bad enough, chiropractic and or massage helps. It has been a major nuisance but has had only a minimal impact on my climbing. The last couple of months have been different. I have been getting back of the leg pain/weakness with [essentially] no lower back pain. Any sort of activity (climbing, tread mill, light back exercises, long walk) seems to make it much worse the next morning. So I've been pondering my options. A longer description can be found at: http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.html?topic_id=148646&f=35&b=0 So I finally decided to accept the advice, "see a doctor." Anybody have recommendations for a doctor for back pain/sciatic nerve in the Sacramento area? Preferably one used to athelites. Or in the I-80 corridor headed towards SF (Fairfield, Valejo, Berkely)? Thanks

I PM'd info that I hope will help, but you haven't picked it up. Since you're new, I'm not sure you know about the private message system.
