last monday richard farris from usa made an onsight ascent of "osmosis",7c, at nyamuk. osmosis is still one of the hardest routes in malaysia and has 7 ascents by now. this is the second onsight. congrats!

If I remember correctly, the national climbers from Delta Rovers made some successful ascents in Nyamuk some months back. Francis flashed Chess, and Hafzanizam and Hafiz cleaned it too. Hafzanizam then cleaned Osmosis on the 2nd attempt. But best to check with the folks who were there. Just typing this off bits and pieces of what I remembered talking to Francis.

and another one:
on tuesday kevin o'donnell from new zealand has also repeated osmosis on his 3rd redpoint attempt.
better known as "kevin" or "the man who hacked steps at franz Josef", he only can be found at Nyamuk on weekdays, as he is working as chief instructor at camp5...
