This comp is on March 4, at ExtraVertical Climbing Center (62nd & Broadway in NYC). It's from 5:00-9:30:
-Open to all ages (5 & up), fun, D.J., chair massage
-Beginner, intermediate, advanced toproped format and additional speed comp
-Guest appearance by Lakpa Gyelu, Everest 12 time climber & fastest ascent
-Launching of new Nepali trance music cd ‘The Followers’ by Chandra Prakash
-Prizes include deluxe gear from The North Face, EMS, Madrock, etc.
-Door prizes and goody bags including Urban Climber, Promax, Yogabhavan
-After-party following the event
-Head routesetter: European nationally ranked climber Calin Ilea
