I've been visiting stores for days now and am not that satisfied with what I have found. So this is a question to those of you who are inspired about gift giving. The only caveat is that the gift cannot be jewelry, in that it tends to disappear from airmail packages where it will be sent. And I'm having fun looking, so no rush. So what nice, small gifts have you gotten in the past, ladies? What inpspired gifts did you find for your women, guys?

you should get her flowers. It's simple, the florists will deliver it, and women like flowers. Then, after two days, send her candy with a card. It's unexpected and they eat that shit up (the surprise, not the candy; although they eat the candy, too). Keep it simple.

I like the way you think, wonderwoman. I am considering all three of the following together in a box: An erotic literature selection from a good bookstore Premium chocolates and and iPod Nano Would any of you women be delighted to get that in the mail?

I like the way WW thinks as well, she has many fine qualities. Now, Tim, I don't know how creative you are, but a little imagination and effort go a long, long way. Are you a poet, an artist, a musician, etc. Create something of your own and send it ( a poem, a card, a collage, a recording of a song, etc.) Two or three of these and she will be melting at the thought of you. Then......comes the thong, or sexy lingerie, or even a coupon for whatever she wants. The rest, as they say, is history.......and present........and future........

T, you're a big boy. I shouldn't have to tell you this. Jewelry gift certificate, better still, only at a store near you so you can choose together (and so you can reach an understanding with the proprietor about what NOT to push perhaps.) Been outta the game for a while?

Ha ha ha. No, dangle. I just came to realize that once the small size requirement came into play, it negated a lot of the stuff I would normally buy. I can't even locate a good florist in her tiny town. As for the iPod getting lost, I can replace that easily. Jewelry that is unique, not so easy. Well, things have changed and I'll be there in person in a month anyway, so no need to mail something off. I got the erotica and chocolates already.

As a LDR lifer I have some suggestions. I love nice underwear. Good expensive stuff. My boyfriend doesn't buy it for me so I buy it and mail it to him so he can think about seeing me in it. He has mailed me books, I like that alot. I also bake him cookies and mail those. Chocolates and erotic lit?!! Hell yeah, I would LOVE it if he mailed me that. Alas, romantic gifts arent' his forte.
