I love rock climbing but since I'm still only 14 my parents have to drive me rock climbing( 1/2 hour away) so i can only go once a week. What can i do at home to improve my climbing with out actually climbing? :?

thanks, but to euroford-I think if i tried to wait till i was older i'd die i love climbing and if that means i have to climb the fence in my back yard i'll do it.

If you want to climb that bad
Get a bike and ride it to the crag!
This will help your endurance for climbing as well!
other then that try convincing them that you need a wall at home or some kind of training board at least.

Yea wait till you grow up a bit more, choose the right college and you will be climbing outside five days a week like me. You may not even have to wait that long... two years and you will be driving. Suggestions for right now...
1. Get a job and your local gym, if your parents think you are working and making money then u can sneak a shit load of climbing in and they will be more inclined to drive you to a "job" not an "activity"
2. Get and hangboard and/or a home wall
3. Buy lots of climbing videos and just know, that other people are climbing way more than you... just kidding but it helps pass the time. :lol:
