I was poking around at MEC today and checked out some passive pro, curiousity as I won't be needing any for a bit yet. The WC rocks and BD stoppers look to be pretty much identical, in so far as the shape of the aluminum nut is concerned. Is there any appreciable difference? My guess is no, and it would be a personal preference only.

I noticed that Aliens are back on the shelf too, I didn't realize that they went so small. Hardly looks like they could really hold anything.

Jeff.

I think that's why they took them off the shelves.

They're probably OK now.

The taper of the BD stoppers is more aggressive (steeper taper), and to me it feels like they don't seat as firmly. (my first set was WC, so maybe that is what I look for in a perfect nut placement though).

I fell once on a black alien and it held.
