Does anyone know about the setup for the peabody highline at the buttermilks? Type of anchor? is there bolts?

You can find that information on http://www.slackline.com, as well as the forums you'll need to contact people who may want to help you rig and walk it. Are you planning on rigging it? Have you rigged highlines before?

Just a word of advice: If you haven't rigged them before, don't try it until you get someone experienced to come with you. Highlining hasn't killed anybody yet, and we'd like to keep it that way.

If I remember correctly each anchor has 3 bolts which were in decent condition when we set the line up last may. Rigging is the easy part, if you know what you're doing. Grandma Peabody goes at V0 and is a 40' high problem. Grandpa Peabody goes at V1x and is 50' high. Once on top set fixed lines so you can jug your way back up and rap back down.

You can get more info at Slackline Brothers

Jason

Here are some shots I got of some buddies of mine on that line.

Sweet thanks guys for the info. I went back last week and looked closer with binocs and saw the bolts. I have no experience with high lines as i'm trying to gain some knowlege.

Sweet, always good to welcome more people to the club. Just remember, since you've never highlined, do NOT try to rig and walk the line yourself. Find someone WITH experience to show you how to rig safely in person. I'd post up on www.slackline.com and ask if anyone wants to rig it, I'm sure someone with experience might have the time to help you out.

Hey guys I realize this is old buuuut in case anyone still checks it... I just found myself in the Bishop area for a little bit and I'd love to hang out with slackliners/highliners and highline around here. If anybody is around send me a message: 646-241-6109 or facebook https://www.facebook.com/nina.wantsmorehighline

cheers!
