CHICOUTIMI EN ROCHE is a provincial climbing gathering in the Saguenay valley during the May long weekend (May 20,21 and 22 2006). The program consists of conferences, equipment kiosks, a party, FQME's annual meeting, and of course, climbing for everyone!

The "Club de Montagne du Saguenay" (CMS) is celebrating is 35th anniversary. To highlight this occasion, we have decided to organize a large-scale event to gather together climbers of all styles to climb, exchange, and socialize. With CHICOUTIMI EN ROCHE, we're bringing climber gatherings back to life, without the black flies!

The "Club de Montagne du Saguenay" (CMS) is the oldest club affiliated with the Fédération Québécoise de la Montagne et de l'Escalade (FQME) and is by far the most active of all Québec climbing groups. Its principal objectives are to promote rock and ice climbing, regroup its enthusiasts, and equip the sites of the region. The Club has 100 members and organises 50 activities per year. We invite you to come discover the great potential of our cliffs. From Montréal, it's only 48km further to come to Ville Saguenay (458km) than to go to Québec's most popular crag: St-André de Kamouraska (408 km). From Québec city it's 23 km further.
