There's a couple southern climbers here. I used to live in New Orleans up until August. Still miss Mudbugs and HP40...

Just out of curiousity, when you say in your profile that you "enjoy all types of climbing, but excel in bouldering, sport, and trad," what type of climbing does that mean you don't excel in? Just aid? Hmm, guess ice too, but you seem to really be covering everything. Kudos then.

I meant everything except for ice climbing. I hope that helped! Laura :)

Hey Treez; Have you ever climbed with Hosh? He lives in Alaska also. He's a really good climber. I've climbed with him at JT. He really likes offwidths! :D Cosmiccragsman

Don't know that we've shared a rope. I do know him though. He is a nice guy and strong climber. We have slightly different agendas. You know how that goes. You should come up sometime! I know hosh wants to top out a Tower and you would love it I'm sure. It sounds like there's not a lot of places you haven't been. Nice to meet ya. Let's switch to PM so as not to hijack "Laura's" thread. :)

Now everyone be nice, she sounds like a sweet heart. Plus, any girl that climbs is a good thing. They smell better...

Awe...I'm sorry to disappoint you guys on not being the "other" Laura. Heh...girl climbers, I'm the only one at my gym and one guy made the same comment before on how "they smell better," all I can say is, "Thanks Abercrombie 8 perfume." :D Thanks on the new welcomes from people!

Hey! I'm from Starkville and my climbing partner is from the Jackson area. What gym do you work at? We often climb at his gym in Jackson (well, I think it's Ridgleand) and I don't ever recall seeing you there. I'll say hey, or have him say hey next time we're in there. ~Mic
