For awhile now i have wondered why i get to rate posts so often, sometimes i'll use up all 5 trophies (almost always give trophys) and then find i have 5 more (not always). It's not uncommon to rate 3 or 4 days in a row. It can be hard to find 5 or 10 posts a day for 3 days in a row.
I'am not bitchen, i want to vote ,it's a cool feature but is this normal i thought only 10 to 30% of users got to vote per day.

Your rating ability/frequency has something to do with how good your own karma is (the trophies/turds you've given/received). Maybe tim will come in and clarify.

I'm not sure, but I think it's a lot. :lol:
I will say that I've gotten several green highlights and it does seem like I get to rate every day, so:
a) pin a rose on me
b) climbsomething may be on to something

its randomly assigned, but the amount of trophies/turds you receive improves/decreases your chances of getting the votes.

Rating stuff is a hassle, I don't do it much any more. In the beginning, I thought it was fun, but then I realized I was spending a lot of effort searching for 5 worthy posts. THAT can take a long time, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
People give too many trophies for funny posts, and not enough for serious posts.
But then, it is easier to identify a funny post as opposed to a meaningful and useful one. HAHA , the meaningful and useful posts are also quite rare.
It's interesting to see how many trophies you get, I'd also like to see how many turds I've garnered. The turds are probably a better indication of how many people you've pised off rather than an indicator of a bad post, hehe.
OF course, all my posts should get trophies. It would be nice to see how many trophies a post gets, so one might know if one has a few dedicated fans, a serious post stalker, or just random good vibes.
But it wouldn't be nice enough for anyone to spend time working on it, LOL!

Last time I got a rate button was about a week ago, I used it in about 30 min. I read a lot of threads during a week and I remembered some good post in some threads, then I just went back and gave it a trophy. It was fun.
