This is the ongoing "WCW" thread (Wall Crawler Wednesdays). Since we typically work on weekends, we've got a small tradition going now for 10 weeks in a row... and we aren't going to stop. You can join the club or just COME CLIMB, whatever you want. What is it? Wall Crawler Wednesdays, EVERY WEDNESDAY at a local crag. Who? Whoever. (Tucson Wall Crawlers) http://www.tucsonwallcrawlers.com Goal: Never visit the same area in the same year, unless it is ANOTHER day of the week! Wednesday, May 31st: Turret Rock Area(Bad Ass Rocks) PM, email, call, whatever. tucsonwallcrawlers@gmail.com See ya this week on Mount Lemmon!! Le Buzz at 8am... This is the coffee shop in the shopping center, NE corner of Catalina Highway & Tanque Verde Rd. Past areas: Soldier Canyon, Munckinland, Windy Point, La Milagrossa, Prison Camp, The Druid (Showers Point), The Ruins, The Matterhorn, Ridgeline... Coming soon: Iranian Wall, The Outback, Clear Creek DWS!, Jacks Canyon, Weathertop, Cochise (East & West), Bare Ass Rocks, Lost Hawk Pinnacle, Big Pine Towers, and a LOT more... in no particular order. Some of the guys in the group talked us in to a myspace.com profile, so you can follow the events there as well... A good thing is forming from this growing tradition... we want more people to come!

Sounds good! BTW, for tomorrow (5-10-06) one group is leaving at 7:30am-ish, and another around 9:30am-ish... If you know the way, come whenever you want! The later you come, the hotter it'll be... If you don't know the way, just get to Molino PULLOUT (last one before the pay station), and I'll have a map for ya under my wiper (big white suburban). If it's the last of the maps, PLEASE leave it for other people in the group to have a look at before they head on up... Thanks! -James

We missed a few posts on RC.com, but Wall Crawler Wednesdays continues strong. Check out our site to see where we've been AND where we're going: http://www.tucsonwallcrawlers.com This Wednesday (May 31st) We'll be in the Turrent Rock area, Starting at "Bare Ass Rocks"... Never been there, but it looks fun. We're working on planning out the next 2 months of climbing this week, so once we're finished, the details will be on our website. http://www.tucsonwallcrawlers.com We're also going to be planning a road trip in the near future, for some climbing at Jacks Canyon and some deep water soloing/bouldering at the near-by Clear Creek. Check this forum for updates, OR check out the website. Our ticklist is getting pretty big, but still only occupies about 6 months of Wall Crawler Wednesday trips... The list will be available online soon, but we'll be waiting for some suggestions from EVERYONE. Keep in mind, this is for WEDNESDAYS, so we need to be able to get there and get back in a day... (OR a little camping the night before won't hurt...) Road trips might be during the week, but we'll be aiming for holidays and weekends for most longer trips. Once a month would be nice... every other month may be more feasible. POST SOME RECOMMENDATIONS HERE! Climb on!

Yes, but the link does not tell where this week's climbing is. How am I supposed to know if I am going to come down with the 24 flu tomorrow?
