For yous guys and gals who are wondering about the construction, our Crack of Doom is made of 2x12s 8' long, on 1' fully-threaded 3/8" bolts. We can make the cracks as small as 3/4" or as large as 8". The right-most boards are screwed into 2x6s (that the face climbing wall is mounted on) that are screwed into outside wall studs (unknown size, hopefully not too small...). Also, I added another 2 boards to the left so there are 2 cracks now :) I'll post a pic of it sometime soon. Lastly, unfortunately, it can't go [edit] vertical. Yet. :twisted:

Should have made it overhanging, the way it is now it just takes up space (granted not that much). An overhanging rig would actually improve you crack climbing prowess.
