Since climbing is a part of me, how could I settle for someone who would prevent me from being myself? If it is a choice between climbing and them, I translate it as a choice between being myself or letting someone destroy me in the name of love. I am better then that... I would rather be single then give up my true self. That is why no one is going to get between me and what are my happy habits... (No one can stop me from writing, teaching, climbing, singing off key and hanging with my friends who have been around for over fifteen years.) If they try, we already know who is going to lose. It won't be me, I like myself too much...

^^^ i agree with that, i like myself way too much, if i stop climbing i will no longer have the huge biceps that make me love myself in the first place...and yes the lovin does get a little rough when you are in one of those "climbing is my love life" phases, scarring and constant pain, its pretty miserable...
