I just bought a mammut rope bag and i was wondering what is the best way to put the rope in.

Are you serious? Flake your rope, then roll up the tarp into the rope bag. Seems pretty straight-forward to me...

is it one that folds out? if so.. tie one end to one of the attached webbing loops... flake out onto the bag then tie the other end to the opposite webbing loop. done. if it has an attached tarp.. do the same thing but flake onto the tarp .. then fold that all up into the bag will hardly ever need to coil the rope and flaked is the suggested way of storing the rope anyway.

just pile it in there, wrap it, strap it, and head off to your next climb....always pile it (belaying) on the trap, keepin your rope clean will help it last longer remember to tie a end of the rope to one of the bags loops/straps (this makes it easier to find it later on..

If its just a rope bag (no tarp), well, leave it at home
