yesterday i met a guy climbing with his children who knew of the appearance of the new bolts. apparently the bolts were drilled by a califorian climber. might explain the difference. they appear solid with a backup sling. and in my opinion, it's better than scaring up the top of the island.

There are 3 new bolts on the island. I dont know the name of the route but they access the East side.
