I live in West Virginia and have a month off to play. I just got back from Seneca Rocks this morning. I'm looking at spending some time at the New as soon as Monday of next week. Anyone want to rope up and trade belays?

Anyone want to rope up and trade belays? Where in WV do you live? I'll be there in July. Can you get some time off then? I live in Thailand now, but I used to climb in WV around the New about 20 years ago. I seldom saw anyone else there. Is it crowded nowdays?

Yeah, it's pretty frequented now. Most every good-weathered weekend you'll see a bunch of other climbing parties. I live in Martinsburg. I don't know how much time I can get off in July. I imagine you climb quite a bit in Thailand. Have you much free time to climb the last week in June?

Are you going to be there during the weekend at all, or just during the week?

I can be there anytime between the 19th and the 28th. As long as I have a partner for the New or Seneca, I'll be available to climb at either place. I have to be in Norfolk, VA starting the 29th of June, so anytime before that I'm pretty free. When looks good for you?

In reply to: Are you going to be there during the weekend at all, or just during the week? I just got my ticket and I arrive in Norfolk on the 29th of June. I'll be in Hampton until the 29th of July. I can go wherever and whenever I wish... week days, weekends or both. Is there any good climbing to be had in the Blacksburg area? I could come up and do some climbing with you and maybe get a bit of fishing in on the New in your area. I know it used to be good for smallmouths and warmouth bass. Ya into fishin'?

Still hangin' out around the New? Think I could make it early next week (25, 26, 27th), if you're interested...

In reply to: Still hangin' out around the New? Think I could make it early next week (25, 26, 27th), if you're interested... Hey David, I don't arrive in Virginia until the 29th of June. I should have said July in the title instead of June... sorry. If you're going to be around in July, I'd love to meet you there.
