Does someone know why BD C3 is hard to pull its lever and how to make it smooth?
I bought #2, #1, #0, and #2 is worst. It makes my hand pump :x !

Better start eating your Wheaties.

I've played with them and had no problem pulling the trigger, but then again, I'm a big strong climber guy.

It's a good thing, it helps them stay put.

well they have a higher spring tension than other cam units - so thereffore require more effort.

just make sure you pull the right one off your rack, other wise you're wasting gas.

=)

(try copious cam lube)

I have no trouble retracting the triggers on BD C3's. Do you perhaps have a defective set of cams?

There was a thread back when they first came out about hard trigger pulls. Some were defective, but most just needed to be well lubricated. You might want to do a search for that thread.

They made them that way to help distinguish real climbers from sport climbers. The idea is if you can't pull the trigger on a C3 then you were not cut out to be a trad climber and should go back to clipping bolts. It's like a test, did you pass?

1. Because you're a pansy and so you can use the pickup line, Hey baby wanna squeeze my cam?

2. So you can send them to me and I'll fix it for you.

3. Cut off those weird little spring things on the bottom below the trigger. Those seem to be causing the problem.
