On the far left side of Middle Sunset at Old Rag there are two cracks which are quite good - one goes straight up and the other follows a long traversing flake past 1 bolt. they are quite steep. Anyone know names or grades fro these??

Hi nnowinowski- Are these on the east side of Middle Sunset and sort of north facing? If so, I thought the straight up route (on the right) was 5.10 and the left route with the bolt was 5.11. Both were very steep and sustained. I don't know the names or history. Hard to tell if we're talking about the same routes. I approached them from the east side after going around the toe of the lower Sunset buttress and walking uphill past a bunch of routes on the east or backside of Sunset. -Chris

sound like the same routes though the straight up one is on the (climbers) left. I thought 11a and 11c but it was also nudging 90 degrees that day. I was wondering is the right hand one called vice squad?

I got the routes reversed in my initial description for sure. The left route was straight up. I would believe 11a and 11c. Still not sure about the names. I'll check with a couple people who may know.
