If I just showed up at Camp 4 in late August and put up a note saying I was looking for a partner to do El Cap with, would I get any takers? I'm not particular about which line I do. I was just thinking I might have a try at it before heading back to school.

Let us know how it goes. we can compare stories, I've had it work both ways. Not the best approach, but WTF? You gotta get up there somehow.

I might be up for an El Cap route by late August, not sure. I am off work for 2 1/2 months, and climbing as much as I can without getting divorced. I am headed up Leaning Tower on Sunday, hope I dont fry in the heat! Steve
