I am not positive about this but I think Ron Kauk climbed a 14a trad route awhile ago in yosemite. There is another 14a in Colorado somewhere. Tommy Caldwell just put up the hardest route on the Diamond which is .13c. Unlike sport climbs the situation for each trad route is different so it is harder to compare. i.e. one route may have good pro but another may have crappy pro and be really run out and therefore may be a harder red (head) point

i'm a newbie trad leader, and have done up to 5.9 thus far. however, the hardest i've done yet is Osiris, a "5.6" (whatever) in Lumpy Ridge, CO. From wierd, cramped chimneys, to painful hand jams, and a very near fall on a vertical, flared crack, it was the most frustratingly difficult trad climb EVER.
