I believe one of the men who had their ropes stuck on Swansons last night may have left a bunch of gear at the base of the base of Redgarden. We were back down off of our route at 9:30 p.m. and I believe we were the last party on the wall so we decided to grab it. The gear has been turned in to the Park. We hid it last night as we were leaving the Park and left a note for the Ranger. I spoke with Tom (from Eldo) this am to advise him where the gear is. maybe it was a cache? and the stuck rope was a fixed line?

No. I spoke with the guys who had their ropes stuck. They got them down. They had a bit of an "epic" up there. I think they were just in a hurry to get the heck home. The stuff that was left would not have been left for that purpose, at least where it was left. It was obvious to my partner and I that the gear was left by mistake.
