Ok, you have 1 week to travel anywhere in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Your car is loaded up with gear and the dog. Where do you go for your ultimate climbing road trip. What inspired this topic is that this summer I traveled from Montana to Devil's Tower, WY to the Needles, SD all in one day on the sper of the moment. It was the best day of the summer and I want some more ideas!!!

Good thing you're moving out here Me? Paradise Forks, Enchanted Tower, Queen Creek, Priest Draw, The Pit, Mt. Lemmon, Enchanted Tower, J-Tree, Bishop, Jack's Canyon, New Jack City, Malibu Creek, Williamson. Luckily, all of these are within 0.5-6 hours drive from my home. But to try something different? I'd probably shoot over to Enchanted Tower in NM, then down to the Potrero Chico for the rest of the week. ~Erica [ This Message was edited by: climberchic on 2002-09-02 17:02 ]

Can't do it in one week- The ultimate road trip would take at least... 5 years. But with one week? I'd probably hang around the Escarpment.

Lots of places: I'd spend the whole summer doing it! El Cap, Needles, Devils tower, Red Rocks, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Cannon, Tuolumne Meadows, Newfoundland, Red R. Gorge, New River Gorge -- the list goes on -- there are a massive number of places I'd like to go -- any place with good climbing and air!

I'd go anywhere, after all I go to school in Miami. I'd more than likely wave all the people and cars here buh-bye and head home to PA. I'd pick up my brother and head for some real rock. Actually I think I'll leave now...
