What Blaster/Radios are you guys taking on the big walls?
I'm debating making one for next years valley run because I can't find what I really want.
It only needs to plug into the ipod, which will be charged solar during the day using the solio http://www.solarstyleinc.com/detail.php?ID=4
Amplified speakers could be powered by the panels at

My goal would be something loud enough to rock in a calming way; but would mitigate battery consumption through solar panel use.
Unless you guys already know which brands use few batteries and are just fine as is......

my buddy uses an I-pod with attachable battery pack that takes standard AAs or something, and these cool padded Eagle Creek brand travel speakers.

I ussualy have some piece of shit from target that barely picks up the Hawk.

Leave the blaster at home and use something with ear phones. Some of us prefer more natural sounds.

And loud Harleys suck.

My buddy Greg stole his sister's pink ghetto blaster and reinforced the handle with duct tape. We pulled up an ill-fated attempt on Lunar Ecstacy blasting NWA and Eminem tapes, super funny and oggd times.

picked one of these up (and a package of AA Duracell batts) at costco last summer for my ZM trip. Nice for long leads and jugging to clean. They RULE! Some Altec-Lansing speakers that take the same size batts might also be handy for the anchor.

There is a new battery pack you can get at best buy or circut city that is tiny (a biit bigger than a 9v battery). It takes 1 9v and lasts about 8 hours. That and some small sony speakers work great!
