Hola! Prescott College grad here. I'm not in town, but have advice on what to climb.

Granite Mountain is the place to be. Multi-pitch trad on golden granite in a spectacular high desert wilderness setting!! Top of your list should be "Magnolia Thunder Pussy" 5.9 and "Coatamundi to Candyland" 5.10. Beware the ratings on the mountain are old school... Go with someone who knows the approach as it is confusing and easy to lose the way (and be in class 5 bushwhacking).

Another great Prescott area is the Promised Lands. It's a canyon way out in pinyon and juniper land that you have to see to believe. Well protected sport routes on breathtakingly beautiful quartzite.

There are also the Dells (crumbly granite over the highway)
Upper Sullivan's canyon (easy accessed 40' basalt splitters)
Lower Sullivan's (taller, longer approach basalt splitters)
Boulderlands (into to climbing toprope area).
Lizard Head (1-2 pitch granite adventure climbing in Granite Basin)
Waves of Rock (3-4 pitch granite face climbing in Granite Basin)
Groom Creek (granite bouldering)
Thumb Butte (1-2 pitch basalt adventure climbing)

And my favorite bouldering -- Superboulder, the Sears boulders, and the Dulke property. Beware this is private property and they are bulldozing as we speak. Find someone that is in the know and go check it out before it's gone!!

Say hello to the mountain for me.
