Anyone ever try these for racking screws??

Seems like it might be a good idea.

Looks alot like OP's Five-O Wire Gate (http://www.omegapac.com/product113.html). I use the OPs for racking and love em. I have a few of the kong's wiregates and my only complaint is that the wiregate action is not nearly as smooth or easy to open as the rest of my wiregates.

they are great especially if you have a petzl harness that allows for carabiners to be held fast at the back of the gear loop. i use all four which are handy for sorting out screws on lead. they also work awesome to rack your tools whilst rapping. i love my usbha heart, but it will not fit on my new version petzl also, i have lost screws off of it when making high steps- i had it to far foward on the harness.
