I dunno, I guess I am too much of a kid at heart (my girlfriend might call it immaturity, but what does she know) to name just a few, here are mine. I Can't believe no one has mentioned: M.A.S.K. Air Commandos Transformers Thunder Cats G.I. Joe but obviously also: Yosemite Sam Marvin the Martian Wile E. Coyote (Supergenius) Captain Caveman Scrappy Doo (he even turned evil genius in the movie) Droopy Dog Cartman Pinky and the Brain The Simpsons (especially Homer) Futurama Family Guy -F

I was always a big fan of Mighty Mouse. Other favorites would include: Speedy Gonzalez (way politically incorrect these days) Speedracer Wile E. Coyote Yosemite Sam For modern stuff that my kids watch I have to go with Jimmy's dad on Jimmy Neutron. He cracks me up.

It is nice that Tygra finally found peace with himself, coming out of the closet and performing in the Broadway musical Cats. Anyone ever see Ralph Bakshi's (Fritz the Cat) animated film "Streetfighter" from the 1970's. There is a character called "Bear" who's voice is done by Barry White, great character, great movie.

Bugs Bunny definitely rools. Daffy next. I do however have a particular affection for the sheepdog and the coyote. George and Ralph would clock on using the old punchcard clock and go to work. The sheepdog guarding the sheep and the coyote trying to steal the sheep. When they would rock up to the timeclock they would greet each other as though they were going to work in corporate America. "Morning George", "Morning Ralph", kerching, kerching. Of course they both carried their lunch pails. Cracked me up every time I watched these guys. Then there were the Mexican crows in the Speedy Gonzales era of Merry Melodies, way too funny for words as they would laze around on branches of a tree singing and playing the guitar whilst deciding what to do for the day. "Eh, Manuel what you want to do today, go tease a gringo". "Noooo, I just wanna sleep Pedro".

The sheepdog was always there at the right moment to grab the coyote around the neck. I also liked Speedy's cousin Slowpoke Rodriguez.... "Slowest mouse in all of Mexico!".... LMAO!! What was the song he always sang? http://upload.wikimedia.org/...en/b/b2/Slowpoke.gif

Anyone ever notice how politically incorrect cartoons used to be? George Jetson would come home from work and end up in a lounge chair with a cigarette and a martini, for example. Does anyone think that "Speedy Gonzales" would pass the censors these days, or would it be nixed in the spirit of "curtural sensitivity"? Bugs Bunny, when he was transported to Camelot once, saw the knights of the round table. Among these were Sir Osis, of Liver. That was some funny shit. We don't get that anymore.

Yes, definitely very politically incorrect. I loved em all the same. Sir Osis Of the Liver, I remember that, gold, absolute gold. Hah, when I went to Turkey I saw the Flintstones talking in Turkish. When I went to Belgium I saw Bugs Bunny and the Beanstalk in Belgese.

Speaking of politically incorrect, does anyone remember the old bugs bunny wartime propaganda, where Daffy beats up a German Eagle reminiscent of Hilter (I forget the title of the cartoon), and another where Bugs beats up the Japanese ('Bugs nips the Nips') was the title. Craaaazy. Oh, I do happen to love this clip tho... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYfSopE2JUA Barney Rubble and Fred flintstone are perfect candidates to endorse cigarettes. With the amount of trouble Fred got in at home and work, it's no wonder he needed a smooth and refreshing Winston.

Looney Toons were the ultimate best, and Daffy was always my favorite of those, just for sheer neurosis. And the landscape of the Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner toons was pretty intriguing; I'll bet there were some AWESOME desert splitters in the background! As for more modern cartoons, my favorite characters: Bender from Futurama Ralph Wiggum Butters from South Park Does anyone remember that old Hanna-Barbara cartoon caled something like Speedway Squad with Muttley and Dick Dastardly?
