I'm shopping for my first kit of quickdraws and I have a questions for you. Is it important to have a big gate opening on the bent gate (like 3.2cm)? or a normal (2.5cm) is okay ? Thanks you

Which ever biner fits in your hand better. No one really gets down to numbers like that. People buy what they like and what works best for them. So go ask where you buy them if you can clip a rope into them. Clip overhand and under hand, just buy what you like.

DMM Eclipse Bent Gate Biner (bent gate opening = 3.2 cm) and
Black Diamond Quicksilver Bent Gate Biner (bent gate opening = 2.5 cm)

Both those biners look good to me. I like the fact that they're rated to 9 kN open-gate strength. I think that the gate opening of the BD biner is fine, but that's just my opinion. I, personally, would not buy the DMM Enduros because of they have a large nose. Makes for easier clipping, but it could catch the rope in a fall and potentially cause it to unclip.

I used some draws with wire gates on Monday and I thought they were significantly easier to clip than my bent gate draws.

Consider the wire gate biners. The advantages are that they don't bounce open easily and they are more multi-purpose. Even a little lighter.
I trad climb so I am not usually trying to clip at the crux at the edge of my abilities where a bent gate might be an advantage.

I replaced a bunch of my biners (including bent gates on my draws) with wire gates. Not only are they lighter, but I liked the gate action better - found them easier to clip. Check out Wild Country Wildwires. The WC Ascents are also pretty nice. If you've got plenty of cash you don't mind parting with, the DMM Wirelock is a really sweet biner!

I just bought a set of dmm lightwires (they're a sexy 'biner) and I used the BD quicksilver and bd quicksilver bent gate. The DMM have a little easier wire spring that makes them nice to clip, they're also low profile.

You may just want to get a couple and try them. I bought a bunch of Omega Pacific Omegalites because of the huge gate openings. Now I hate them because they snag on everything and don't clip into bolts without tipping them. They work very well for some things, but obnoxious when trying to clip a long reach.
You might just buy one of each and make sure you have the one you want before buying a whole set.

Consider the new Black Diamond Positron draws.
I just bought a set and the advantages are
1.Great strength
2.Flush nose that eliminates snagging and unclipping.
3.Very light.
4.Great grip.
Disadvantage : More expensive, but Damn do they look cool too!

The only strength rating on a biner that matters is the open-gate strength, which is only 8 kN for the Positron. That's only mediocre.

True jt, the only important strength rating is the open gate strength. But I'd gladly trade a kilonewton for that awesome keylock system and the gate that feels more like a wire gate than a regular gate. I LOVE the Positron biners! When I get the money...

My friends and have always been using bent gates, and one of my buddies just recently purcahsed some wiregates, and I love them alot, they seem (to me ) to be way easier to clip into, so my opinion would be to gowith those.

The wild country blaze curved gates are great, i have had mine for about 2 years now they have an awsome gate open strength, and still have the same action to that i had when i first got them, they have had 4529m of leading on them. so if you are looking for some good queality binners at a good price these are awsome

yeah, just go to the store and try a bunch of biners, see how they feel in your hand. you're the one that has to clip them.
i.e. i have BD neutrinos because i have small hands, they're a small biner.
