Yesterday at the gym, while negotiating a difficult overhang route during lead climb, I felt a "snapping" or "whipping" sensation at my calf, but there was no pain at all. It happened a few times yesterday, again, no pain.

Should I be worried?

You sure the kids behind the desk weren't shooting rubber bands at you?

I'd take it easy for a week or two JUST IN CASE it is the start of a more serious muscle or connective tissue tear.
