I just want to climb on a regular basis.

Frigging warm winter last year.

I would like to get to Thunder Bay/ Nipigon as well as a few places in Quebec.

To many climbs on my tick-list to list here. Polar Circus is up there though. Goals for the season, comfortably lead grade 5 ice, regain strength/endurance to redpoint M7 to M8, tick off some FA's in a new secret area and thus make it a new "Not So Secret" area.
Oh, and Crank down on as much ice as possible :!:

Hmmm, I think Ice ticks are a relative of Alpine ticks. This being the case the removal is somewhat difficult as both ice ticks and Alpine ticks are rare and only found in close proximity to unplanned and forced bivi's, where spooning was required for warmth. I believe the only way to remove them is to never speak of them. However, they are tricky little buggers, and should photo evidence be obtained they can never be removed; resulting in Rocky Mountain Broken and Shattered Pride Disorder and Himalayan Never Hear The End Of It Syndrome

try and get to an area in the states.
try and get to the dacs again and do chouinards
try and not die soloing around hamilton!

Other than that, get out as much as possible. I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to get to the daks and do chouinards!

i'll add that I see the_climber writing about grades. Seems to me that I don't really care that much if i get to climb WI4 (i can't). I just love being on ice.

Choss, I'm sure it is Rocky Mountain Broken and Shattered Pride Disorder and not "Broke Back Mountian and Shattered Pride Disorder" as I was listing the disorder and not the symtoms of the disorder, one of which is a "Never Ending" Joke involving all manner of quotes from Broke Back Mountain at the expence of those effected by either Ice or Alpine ticks. :D

Now Mr.E my mention of grades as may goals are so that when I achive these goals I will have a multitude of routes on my tick list that I can then begin ticking off (ie. Polar Circus, Socerer,...). I have had many oppertunities to tick off routes from the list, but turned them down because I am not a fan of being simply dragged up routes. :boring:

Sure you can! All you have to do is get out and do it. :righton: WI4 physically isn't to hard, it's all in the head.

brent, didn't you post pictures of you and someone else drytooling under a bridge or something? If you can climb that, you ought to be able to lead WI4. No way in hell could I haul myself up the underside of a structure like that.

Ah, as for my own ice ticks, I'd like to lead White Nightmare, the Fang and Finger of Fate in Provo Canyon. I'd like someone to drag me up Stairway to Heaven, the full version.

Timpanogos Couloir or a different alpine route near Salt Lake would be nice also, but only if conditions are right. Other than that, maybe a little bit of really easy mixed climbing.
