Hey...im trying to go to Moab in Late November...hopefully the weekend of the 24th...
I live in Santa Barbara and would like to carpool with people within a reasonable distance to me (2-3 hours).
Anyone interested? I would be probably leaving on a wed or thursday and needing to be back by Monday.

hey hey.
i'm planning on going as well, but i'm in boulder.
i just thought we could make this the moab 2006 thread.
post up y'all.
coldclimb and joe, do you have dates of travel yet? i have to be here thursday for thanksgiving, but you're welcome to join us. we're hosting vegan thanksgiving...but wouldn't be opposed if you wanted to bring some food.
i was planning/hoping to leave for moab friday...
what say you?

I don't have anything firm set just yet but that time of the month would be ideal. I don't mind skipping Thanksgiving this year. Also, my jeep can seat 4 comfortably + gear.
The biggest question for me is time staying out there. I thought I was quitting my day job then they suckered me into sticking around (still regretting that). At any rate, what day will we start heading back?

joe, i'm down with leaving whenever. just the weekend will be long enough for me, i think. i'd be happy to stay longer, but if not, moab's not going anywhere...
coming back on sunday would work, but if you wanna stay longer, that also works.
since you're driving, i'd say you get to choose. dunno if coldclimb still wants to come down just for the weekend or not. john?
um...joe, you're welcome to stay here as many nights as you need, if you wanna come on wednesday, or thursday, and you're also welcome to do thanksgiving with us. i dunno how many people are coming, but it should be fun...
(the t-giving invite goes to anyone else, btw, just lemme know if you'll be here, so i can be sure and get enough tofurkey.)
