j_ung, who ARE your dancers? The photos are a little small to tell, but the costume changes remind me of when I was 10 and taking jazz and tap lessons at Ms. Connie's School of Dance. Except I wasn't quite so busty...

It all started one steamy, early June evening in Biloxo, Mississippi. Trixi, Trudi, Candi, Mandi and Suzi (not pictured in the current j_ung sig, due to her top-secret mission in the American Embassy in Saudi Arabia -- she'll be back in January... hopefully) had just graduated high school. Filled with hope and promise for the future, these five friends left their graduation ceremony for their volunteer positions at the local hospital.

It was on the way to the hospital where things went horribly awry. Trixi was driving. A reknowned gymnast known for her quick reflexes, she had to swerve suddenly to avoid a nun and several small children with puppies and kittens who ran out into the road. Suddenly, a tire blow out from under them and only Trixi’s famous reaction time saved them all from certain death. But, their car became stuck in a boggy marsh.

Unfortunately, this was a case of “out of the frying pan and into the fire”. Alligators, sensing an easy meal, began to close in on the girls. And just when it seemed that Candi would become candy for a gator, another car pulled up.

Out hopped Phil Box, Australian and professional Gator wrestler. “G’day, sheilas!” yelled Phil. “Now don’t you gals worry. I’ll have you out there in a jiffy and we can all throw some gators on the barby!”

Phil wrestled those Gators into submission and the girls were thankful… mighty thankful. They’d never heard such an accent before and were spellbound, despite Phil’s somewhat goofy look. “Now it’s time for you sheilas to pay me back!” said Phil happily.

“What do m—“ began Mandi, but she stopped short of finishing the question, because Phil had already made his intentions clear. He slowly unzipped his pants. The poor girls were horrified when he dropped trou to reveal a terribly misshapen – and tiny – rod-like thing. Despite its miniscule stature, it was nonetheless hideous. Phil used it to force the poor girls into the trunk of his car. He drove off laughing.

He kept the poor girls tied in his basement for six weeks next to an old microwave oven that leaked radiation. Little did Phil know, however, that the leaky nuker would spell his doom.

You see, the radiation had strange effects on the girls. The already nimble Trixi gained the agility and speed of a cheetah. The already strong Trudi gained the strength of a hundred men. The unbelievably hot Candi found that, if she concentrated hard enough, she could make things spontaneously combust. Mandi, a math whiz, suddenly found that she could perform highly complex equations in her head and, all of a sudden, she knew every person’s phone number in the US. And Suzi found that she could read minds. All of the girls were already competent dancers, but gradually their ability to get down and get funkay had increased a hundred fold. No longer were they just ordinary beautiful co-ed high school grads. They were super dancers with incredible powers!

Trudi broke down the door to the basement with her newfound strength and Trixi raced out of the basement to find a phone. Phil heard the noise and came running, but before he even arrived, Suzi sensed his evil thoughts and warned Candi, who, though disgusted, concentrated on his “thing” and made it burst into flames.

Phil ran away screaming, just as Trixi returned with a phone. “What took you so long?” asked Trudi, but it was Suzi who read her mind and answered.

“She had to run all the way to Louisiana to find the nearest phone. She’s traveled over 200 miles in under a minute!”

“Who should we call for a ride?” asked Trudi.

“Hang on a sec,” replied Suzi. “I’ll find someone.” She concentrated again and sensed the thoughts of a young man driving down a road almost 20 miles away. “His name is j_ung,” reported Suzi. “And I sense that he is a good man… a kind man… one who will help us back on our feet after our horrible ordeal. And to make it worth his while, we should become his Internet dancers!”

“With us in his online signature,” said Candi. “He’ll surely climb trad! But how do we reach him?”

Trixi held aloft her phone. “I don’t know why I felt it important to get this,” she said.

“I planted the suggestion in your head,” replied Suzi.

“And I know his mobile phone number!” chirped Mandi gleefully.

The rest, my friends, is history. Now… if you please… Give it up for the j_ung Dancers!
