In reply to: Soon the week was almost over and Mike had to fly back home. So back to Phoenix we went, but this time with the Canadian Lass following right behind. THE END :D And she followed you ever since......awwwwww. I love telling people where we met. They're always so confused that I'm married to an american from Wisconsin. It's fun to add to their confusion that we met in Tennessee and got together in El Paso.

[quote="chossmonkey"]In reply to: Ok Chossmonkey, let's talk fishing. Hold on........ Okay, I had to check and see what thread I'm in. There's not a lot of fishing going on down there in AZ, huh?
In reply to: Actually, on a per capita basis, there are more boats here than any other state. But I have no idea what they are fishing for.

In reply to: In reply to: And also Chossmonkey, I found the new guide book "Weekend Rock Arizona". What a disappointment. Only 10 routes listed for the Stronghold. I guess we will have to wait some more for a guide book to the area. It looks like you've also learned to double post. I could have told you it would be a disappointment. The title alone cries disappointment! Who wrote and published it? I have no idea. It is brand new. I looked at the pathetic chapter for the Stronghold and put it back on the shelf in disgust.

In reply to: Which putts them both around 10 to 11 US. Now if you have bigger feet then that your in the wrong sport. You should be skiing as it would be cheeper b/c you wouldn't need to buy skis Yup, hes got paddles for hands, and skis for feet.....but you know what they say about men with big feet don't you...
In reply to: You know there is ice to share out here. Granite-grrl could sit around drinking the great Alberta beer and you could climb, then when she's better you could take her to the Weeping wall. I would actually love to head out there again, but it would likely kill me to be out in the mountains and not actually be able to climb. I'd like to work out a time for Nathan to head out there before xmas, but things keep popping up with me. Doctor's appointments, physio, and now I'm even looking at getting laser eye surgery. Poor Nathan.

In reply to: ^^^^^ Is the surgury to correct the problem that you have so that you can get your driver's license back??? Nope, I just hate my glasses. Its something that I had planned to do a while before my accident but couldn't last summer because Nathan was away. So now I have $2000 to use for health care stuff before 2007, and if I don't use it dissapears. So I'm in a sudden rush to get my eyes fixed.

Then I started climbing and I just didn't have the time to do all that stuff anymore.

Double posts or scewing up the quotes? Or both? You need to make sure you don't accidentally cut out the important bits and pieces. I think in that one you left out the "/" in the end quote. I do know it kinda fucked up my quoting of you though. It took a couple of tries but I got it pretty well straightened out.

Nothing any of us could have done. I'm just glad you're still alive and kicking (and screaming), Rebecca. I have thought back to the day I heard about you and read what I wrote and I hope I don't have to do that again for another friend. on another note, i came home and someone has used up all my butter. I think I need to have a wee chat with my housemates. :!:

I don't need anyone telling me how much i've fucked up. I should start calling you "dad." I don't think i'll have time this weekend. We'll have to see. I have a paper to write....but thinking about it i might be able to. We'll have to see. those darts are a PITA to get set up for different sizes - they don't have a quick clip thingy on them like BD's/Grivel. on another note - T-Bay. I haven't heard from my friend yet and i'm going to email her again right now. But When do you want to leave, what do you want to drive, etc? Can we work out some of the details? Do we have any other options for partners???

So Mr.E, here's my idea.... Your tking some Geology. I'm almost done my degree, Richard is half way done his. We have both been working in the industry for years. Everything from Permafrost to gold/diamons to coalbead methane to oil sands,.... Now the rockies are well ROCK (go fugure Eh?!) request a loan from your "Bank" on the basis of "You would like to learn more about the geology of the rockies to further you studies, and as a bonus you would be visiting a couple of geologists in training and would get valuable insite in to a potential career you could be successful at. All of the geo talk about the rockies and career suff can all be discussed while climbing BBBWWWWAAAAHAHAHhahahaahahahah! it's Diabolical  Edited to add: You would have a free coutch to sleep on, we might even be able to scrounge up a bed... if your good and buy beer for us  So the costs could be quite reasonable especially with a seat sale.
