32 seats in the house  ... silly GOP... just hope the Democrats follow through on all the "changes" they plan to bring. "Full steam a head" - out of office.

It's all good my fellow peeps
Unlike the left, most of us here on the right don't live and die by who's in charge. It sucks yes, I'd rather be having the GOP in da house, but historicly it's always changed, and I voted so you can hear me bitch and moan. Don't worry I only do it in jest, I'm not that haung up on it:)

I still believe what I believe (i'm not getting a prius anytime soon), I'm very optimistic in my personal well being for the future despite having a liberal for President too.

Thanks for everyone being good sports, and yes I fully expect you to break my balls over this.

Shelf road or RRC tomorrow (Friday)--who's in? The forecast says it'll be sunny, with a high of 53 degrees.

josh:hi, i'd like a job please.
crocs:ok. take these tests.
josh:ok. *takes tests. passes with flying colors.*
crocs:wow, you did really well. we'd like to have you in for an interview.
josh:great.
crocs(at interview):so, what did you study in school?
josh:art.
crocs:art, huh. i hung up some art this weekend in my apartment.
josh(to self): really? that's the closest connection you can come up with?
josh(out loud):huh.
crocs:so, this is what we do here. you think you'll fit in?
josh:sure. when can i start?
crocs:we'll call you.

a week later:

crocs:well, we'd love to hire you.
josh:great. when can i start?
crocs:there's only one problem.
josh:what's that?
crocs:we have a policy of not hiring people who use their bike or the bus to get to work.
josh:you're joking.
crocs:nope. too many flakes on bikes and buses.
josh:...

no joke.

whatever.
fuck'em. there's no sour grapes when i say i really don't want to work for a company who has a policy of not hiring people who don't drive.

in their defense, they are in niwot, and not boulder. funny how all their ads state a boulder address, tho.

Josh, sorry about the job. Some companies have the stupidest policies. I think I'll give my crocs to the dogs for chew toys. Just out of principle.

Breaking News
Pelosi Vows to Return Bush's Balls by Early '09
Reassures President in Oval Office Meeting

In an attempt to reassure President George W. Bush, incoming Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Cal) met with Mr. Bush in the Oval Office today and promised to return his balls to him by early 2009.

Aides to Mr. Bush had indicated in recent days that he was "concerned" about the whereabouts of his testicles and was hoping that Rep. Pelosi would set a firm timetable for their safe return.

Perhaps in response to those concerns, Rep. Pelosi promised in the closed-door meeting that she would return his balls to him on the morning of January 20, 2009, the inauguration day for the next president.

But the incoming Speaker later told reporters that even as she reassured the president that his testicles would be in safe hands, "I made it clear to him that I am wearing the pantsuit in this country."

Rep. Pelosi's words may have seemed less than encouraging to Vice President Dick Cheney, however, who acted swiftly to move his testes to a secure, undisclosed location.

"I don't care what she says, I'm not letting her near my family jewels," Mr. Cheney told reporters.

For her part, Rep. Pelosi said that Mr. Cheney's precautions were "entirely unnecessary" since she had every intention of returning the vice president's balls in 2009 as well.

"Mr. Cheney's balls would have been safe with me," Rep. Pelosi said. "It is not my intention to cut and run."
