But still, no way to delete our old photos. Until this is fixed, RC.com really does seem to "own" them.

I haven't found a way to resubmit with a new blank image. Post instructions if you know how. You can at least engage in civil disobedience by linking your existing photos to some random route in africa, designating them as adult content, and putting them in the slacklining category.

In reply to: bump.. nope Gotta love "all things on rc.com are the property of rc.com" but we won't let you take stuff off before we tell you that But it goes on to say or its content suppliers. That'd be us. So I don't see a problem. It's the same as it was, only worded differently. We still own our own pics, we're just sharing them on RC.com, which "owns" the use of them on RC.com, but nowhere else. But if I'm wrong somehow, some mod should explain further.

the "or it's content suppliers" clause is meaningless in its current form. There's a period after "Rockclimbing.com" in that first sentence.
In reply to: All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, designs, audio clips, and software, is the property of Rockclimbing.com. or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. Does a period really matter? Read this. http://adamsdrafting.com/...fting-errors-part-1/

But in that case it was a comma and could be interpreted two ways. In this case it's clearly a typo because "the 'or it's content suppliers' clause is meaningless in its current form." Anyway, an explanation from someone who knows is needed. I think we all still own our pics, except for any "use" the host site wants to make of them in the context of the site itself. Edit: PM'd philbox to weigh in on this.

Twas a bug, fixed now. Remember peeps the new site although very fast with the load times is in fact a work in progress. Please be patient whilst the bugs are sorted out. A lot of these bugs could not be sorted out before the transition or else they were simply overlooked during beta testing.
