I never seen one two years ago. Is it before the steep dirt hill right before you get to the top of the crag?

Victimized landowner + local off road vandals + forest sevice land + vague property lines. May take a while for issue to be resolved. Owner understands climbers are not problem. Have patience and please park just off the Tollhouse Road pavement. It is only a 20 minute hike to the top of the Cap Rock. The steep hill only takes eight minutes, the rest is easy going.

Yeah the gate is just before the steep part of the trail...and thanks ropeboy your right the hikes not bad...I was just curious. And to the would-be vandals that tried to break down the gate...don't! It will just make the situation worse for everyone.
