I'm in for intermediate ice and mixed for women. That mixed class is probably going to be WAY over my head, but it's the clinic I'm most excited for!

Intermediate Ice and Avalanche 101... I guess things filled up quickly, as half the courses in the "shop" didn't match the PDF course list. *shrug* T

I signed up for Varco's "Alpine Cragging" clinic. The guy at SJMG said they didn't know what Varco has up his sleeve for this one. Any thoughts?

Hey Ma, I'm gonna be in Telluride all winter and I'd really love to get down to Ouray the week before the fest. (I remember how the lines really changed on Friday and Saturday). So I'll be looking for partners at that time as well, leave me one and we'll go climb. Mark

Last time, I stood there when all others had collapsed from sheer drunkness (and a lack of blood flow to the brain) and waited to collect my prize, and all I got was one of them little black plastic spider rings like you get from the gumball machine outside the SuperWal-Mart.

I do believe he's in. I need to find the photo of him dry tooling with the screwdriver hanging out of his ass. . . Which by the way, we will not be drytooling nude or otherwise at all during the trip because we have decided to sort of behave this year.

So, last year I got screwed out of going to the fest for a number of reasons, and this year still want to go. I'm saving money for a trip to SE Asia in April, and don't know if I have the funds to make the fest this year. But tequila, tubs, tits and tools is just so damn tempting I can't resist. So, how much money am I looking at once I get past getting there. Flying into Denver is looking at around $200. I know I don't want to fly to Denver, but I don't know what city I should fly into. If everything works out, I would like to leave Portland on Monday or Tuesday, and leave Ouray on Sunday or Monday. My plans are pretty flexible right now. So, asuming that I get a hotel room with like six people and 4 dogs, how much money am I looking at? Sorry I flaked out on you last year Mark, I hope you did't have any problems filling my spot on the floor. Asuming I get into Ouray for $250, do you think I could pull this trip off for only $500? I need a ride in, so if someone can pick me up, the climber curancy of beer will gladly be exchanged. However, since I am a dirtbag, I'll agree to climbing my first lead sans pants if I can weasile out of paying for anything. I might even let you take pictures. To bad thats not much of an insenitive for any of you. Haha.

Thanks, I had no idea that I could fly in so close to Ouray, that makes things much easier if I end up flying in. It looks like my girlfriend might be interested in skipping class and going to the fest with me, which means we would be driving from Portland, Oregon. If this happens, we have room for at leats one more if anybody needs a ride.
