Your really are a dumb shit.

Medicaid is a form of welfare. You took medicaid as a college student. Even through you didn't use it (you had the option too).

You took welfare. Plain and fucking simple!

Are you that thick??

You tried to state that medicaid wasn't a form of welfare...it is!

Send me a check ...weasel!

You took welfare. Plain and f---ing simple!

Then you should have no problem comparing official statements from the local welfare office: I'll bring one that shows that NOTHING was taken by me from them. Nothing. Not a dime. Zero. You bring one that shows SOMETHING (anything, really.... a penny, even) was taken by me. Bring proof that I've been given a single penny from Welfare, and I'll take out a full page ad in the New York Times that apologizes, calls you a god, and that I was a liar. I'll even promise to vote Democrat for the remainder of my life.

So, will you take the bet? Yes or no?

In reply to:
Are you that thick??

Are you so thick that you don't know what the meaning of "take" is?

Seriously: Using your convoluted logic (and by calling it "logic", I'm being very generous), one could say that a person who signs up for home owner's insurance "TAKES" money from the insurance company, even if they never file a claim.

So, Bob: Do you have Homeowner's Insurance? When was the last time you scammed and took money from them?

What a freaking idiotic argument you're making. Must be a lack of quality education at wherever you went to school. Maybe I should buy you a dictionary, so you can check the definitions of words before you use them.

In reply to:
Send me a check ...weasel!

You should be sending ME the money, coward.

AGAIN: You have no proof. None. I do. Take the bet, or be a coward.

Let me break it down to.... real simple.

Did you sign up for medicaid as a college student? You said yes.

That means that you had the option to receive benefits. Right?

Doesn't matter to me if you took them or not.

The FACT remains that you sign up for a welfare program to cover your ass if you needed it in college.

You still haven't explained the difference between medicaid and welfare.

Hoser!!

Initially, Bob said:
[quote:2a0c110a2b="bobd1953"]Collecting any welfare lately???[/quote:2a0c110a2b]
[quote:2a0c110a2b="bobd1953"]Fact...you took welfare.[/quote:2a0c110a2b]

Now he's saying:
[quote:2a0c110a2b] Doesn't matter to me if you took them or not.[/quote:2a0c110a2b]
Hmmm.

On a different matter, does medicaid cover rhinoplasty?

Bob: We seem to be having a serious disconnect here. You've stated, many times, that I have taken money from Welfare.

And I'm calling you a liar. I have PROOF that it didn't happen. Real proof, Bob. And one last time: Anytime, any place, I'll bring you that proof. Hell, you can even go with me to the local welfare office when I request a statement of benefits, just so you can't accuse me of making up a fake.

Now, if you had a shread of decency, self-respect, or integrity, you'd be willing to show proof that I have taken money from Welfare.

That you don't show such speaks volumes.

Actually, throughout my life, I make my decisions to cover my family, not me. You know, thinking of others first. Maybe you should try it.

So have I.

I have insurance that I pay for my Family.

How did get coverage for YOUR family as a college student? If your family needed medicaid it seems your mother or father would have been the ones to get coverage...right???

Please explained the difference between welfare and medicaid??

That is what this bet is about.

If you had medicaid benefits...you had the option to use them if needed...right??

Ted Haggard...I bought the meth....but didn't take it.

This whole shit started when you accused me of taking welfare. You are the slime that started this. You can apologize now and this will end.

Plain and simple!!!

I was much more interested in reading how "Fact...you took welfare." was consistent with "Doesn't matter to me if you took them or not".

I'm not sure how signing up for benefits translates into actually receiving them.

Thorne...Plain and simple for you.

Signing up for medicaid and getting approval gives you access to the benefits.

Right or wrong?

Reno accused me of taking welfare...when in fact it was him who signed up for benefits.

He is a hypocrite.

I could care less if he used them or not. The fact remains that he sign up for them.

As to the photo...I thought it was funny as shit. Ouch did a great job. what not so funny is you stalking me on other web-sites. Weird...to say the least.

Now you're saying that I accused YOU of taking welfare?

I just re-read this entire thread, and nowhere do I say "BobD1953, you took welfare."

Now you're just making up facts, where before you were distorting them.

This is hysterical!

Is it?

Yes or no will do.

Did you have medicaid as a college student?

Yes or no will do.

Weasel your way out of this one.

Reno--you are a welfare mooch, and I don't care if YOU CAN prove otherwise
Bob-you're a pussy, but could stiill, I'm sure, kick my ass.
Thorne-you are a well-intentioned yet misguided man whose inteligence could be used to better the world, if you cared to see it (the world, not your intelligence, that you see all too clearly).
Curt--You climb harder than me, and probably STILL drink better scotch than me, damnit.
BLB--I've missed you.

Fuck that back-to-work bullshit (am I allowed to say fuck & bullshit?). We (or I, anyway) want to hear what you've been up to this past while.
I've read that you got remarried, but I have no idea what that means.

Remarried means that after my divorce, I got married again. To a better woman. SHe does not climb, though. Also, we are both lawyers, so collectively, our schedules make like PTC and suck ass.
Living in CT, in West Hartford, where we just bought a new house last week.
I still drink too much, and smoke too many cigars.

That's probably because you can afford to smoke and drink too much. The gf & I are looking for houses right now (we think we found the one we want, last night), our first, so are pretty much shitting ourselves with the thought of laying out that much coin.
BTW, have you heard? Bouchon is (or already has) opening a bistro in New Yawk.

Yeah, but I was smoking and drinking too much far before I could afford it!
Laying out the change for the first house is scary, but you know, it feels SO much better to be paying to OWN instead of to a landlord. Good luck on the purchase.
Laying out what we just did for the upgarde house is equally terrifying, but we don't plan on leaving that house until I am in assisted living or a coffin.
Keller is opening a Bouchon in NY? I know he opened Per Se what, about a year ago or so. I ate at Bouchon in Vegas a few months ago...so tasty.

Um, I might be mistaken, but I was sure he was opening in NY.
I ate at his bistro in Napa, but that was a day after eating at French Laundry, so I was still kinda floating.

He might be. Per Se IS in New York, it's just not Bouchon. I haven't eaten there (three month in advance reservations to get a table) but ate at the Vegas Bouchon, and would pretty much eat anything he served, anywhere he served it. I'll ask my sister-in-law, she works for the Palace and gets people in at that type of establishment...just not me.

Edit: There is A bouchon in NY, but it is most certainly not a Keller production....looks like tis worth a look though! I'll check it out next time I'm down in the city.
