Then you should have no problem comparing official statements from the local welfare office: I'll bring one that shows that NOTHING was taken by me from them. Nothing. Not a dime. Zero. You bring one that shows SOMETHING (anything, really.... a penny, even) was taken by me. Bring proof that I've been given a single penny from Welfare, and I'll take out a full page ad in the New York Times that apologizes, calls you a god, and that I was a liar. Did you sign up for medicaid as a college student? You said yes.
That means that you had the option to receive benefits. Right?
Doesn't matter to me if you took them or not.
The FACT remains that you sign up for a welfare program to cover your ass if you needed it in college.

How did get coverage for YOUR family as a college student? If your family needed medicaid it seems your mother or father would have been the ones to get coverage...right???

Yeah, but I was smoking and drinking too much far before I could afford it!
Laying out the change for the first house is scary, but you know, it feels SO much better to be paying to OWN instead of to a landlord. Good luck on the purchase.
Laying out what we just did for the upgarde house is equally terrifying, but we don't plan on leaving that house until I am in assisted living or a coffin.
Keller is opening a Bouchon in NY? I know he opened Per Se what, about a year ago or so. I ate at Bouchon in Vegas a few months ago...so tasty.

He might be. Per Se IS in New York, it's just not Bouchon. I haven't eaten there (three month in advance reservations to get a table) but ate at the Vegas Bouchon, and would pretty much eat anything he served, anywhere he served it. I'll ask my sister-in-law, she works for the Palace and gets people in at that type of establishment...just not me.
Edit: There is A bouchon in NY, but it is most certainly not a Keller production....looks like tis worth a look though! I'll check it out next time I'm down in the city.
