...why don't I hear more about this camera!? 7MP, large viewing screen, fits in you pocket easily, rugged as hell and dust and waterproof! You can swim with this thing, throw it around in the snow...got it with a 2 gig card for 3 bills...

I've got an Optio WP (the older, 5 MP version), and love it. Waterproof as you said (there's a couple of underwater photos here (I took all the photos in this gallery with it).

Also does fantastic macros (all except the first picture here, and all here).

Shockproof, too - it's been literally thrown (accidentally) at a stone surface hard enough to put a dent in one corner of the case, and shown no ill effects whatsoever.

If there's anything I don't like about it, it's that the focusing is quite slow - makes it hard to take good action shots.
